A few people have expressed interest over my last post and what it's specific origins are. I don't have the heart to re-write everything about this issue that I have written at message boards in posts, but I'll briefly summarize. A friend of mine is going to need money for college, he put up a site to ask for donations (most people read: "beg for money"), I put an ad on Fark.com for it, and immediately got slammed and flamed within 5 minutes.
I honestly wanted to help the guy. His online name is Wanderluster (see also "wandie" and "wands").
If you want, here is the link to the Fark.com COMMENTS, so you can read what asshats some of the people are:
Fark Thread
I play a game called Subspace (see a few posts below for another story about that), there is a message board I frequent there, here are some threads for that if you'd care to read them also: First Subspace Thread
Another Subspace thread, although very short: Second Subspace Thread
Finally here's a thread from another message board I go to: Other Message Board
I'd suggest reading it if you're bored. But the gist of the story is what I said in the first paragraph, and the moral of the story is that even if you help people, they might still shove chopsticks up your ass and light them on fire.
"Such is humanity."
